FAQ
Who designed the textile prints on the products?
Jan Brown, co-founder and principal graphic designer of Thea With Love, lovingly designs all the textile and nursery art prints.
Where are Thea With Love products designed & made?
We have a passionate design team based in Perth Western Australia, where our pre and post development is carried out. Digital Patterns and Tech Packs are then emailed to our wonderful GOTS certified manufacturer in India for sampling and production. We visited the factory getting to know staff and management. Their hot ginger tea is the best!
We have teamed up with ethical companies in China and communicate with them on a weekly basis ensuring that our knitted garments and fringe swaddles are ethically made using 100% cotton. We have developed friendships with our Chinese partners. Our designs are exclusive to Thea With Love.
Why begin with Australiana prints?
Australia’s animals, flowers, birds and water creatures are some of the most unique and beautiful in the world. Yet, many of the high-quality products for little ones feature roses, rabbits, foxes, bears and other animals and wildlife from distant places. At Thea With Love we are endlessly inspired by the wonderment of Australia’s environment, and we’re also passionate about making this accessible in the everyday lives of babies and children. This desire came about initially because we wanted our own children and grandbabies to not only be knowledgeable about the environment they were growing up in, but likewise feel inspired by its beauty. So while we hope that our products bring Australian children and families joy, we’re also excited about the possibility of celebrating and showcasing this beauty and uniqueness, through our products, word-wide.
What is GOTS?

To obtain the GOTS “organic” label, a product must:
- Contain at least 70% certified organic natural fibre.
- Not be treated with, formaldehyde or any other toxic substances.
- Be coloured with non toxic dyes.
